Don't you just love those secret rooms in the elegant manors of old? That perfect spot where no one could find you during games of hide-and-seek on rainy days ..
What you'll find in this closet goes beyond hiding from the adults or children, it's the room where you can get alone with your Maker, God Almighty himself. It's the room to find truth, to tell your secrets and get answers and comfort in time of need for yourself, for others .. it's the holy of holies in your home.
Here, I will share with you from my own time with the LORD. I hope that it will encourage you to spend quiet quality time with God. Importantly, I pray that this will point you to the only one who knows you best -- the LORD God Almighty, the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob.
Remember, dear Reader, that YOU are precious to the LORD. He wants to have fellowship with YOU. He wants you to talk to him, to search for him with all your heart -- when you (we) do that -- HE WILL ANSWER YOU! Don't let go, don't lose heart, God Almighty has made provision to have a personal relationship with YOU through his only begotten son, Jesus Christ. You can find out so much more about that by reading the Bible. I mean, really reading it. Not just skimming pages, or reading a feel-good, faddish devotional, but really taking the time to read word by word the Holy Scriptures written with you in mind, and written for your benefit.
